Tiger traveled approximately 23.5 miles (37.8 km) per hour, weighed 55
tons (49,896 kg) and had armor so thick, 3.9 inches (10
cm) in some areas, that it was practically invulnerable. The
tank was armed with two
machine guns and a cannon that
fired projectiles 3.46 inches (88
mm) in diameter which could
destroy other tanks.
