In 1850 the company opened a store in Paris and by 1868 it had branches in Paris, France, London, England and Geneva, Switzerland. Its reputation became so widespread the name became synonymous for the highest quality in jewelry. In addition to jewelry, Tiffany's designed, manufactured and sold watches, crystal glassware, sterling silverware, china, stationery, leather goods, scarves, ties and fragrances.
