QUEEN'S POPLAR THEATER

a music hall that flourished throughout the first half of the twentieth century in the East End of London, England. The theater was built in the 1800s on the site of an earlier place of entertainment called the Oriental Tavern on Poplar High Street. It presented a variety of entertainment, featuring many stars of the day, but was finally closed in 1957.
