GERMAN MATHEMATICIAN

GERMAN MATHEMATICIAN
ScnTUEU
a reference to English writer Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (1832-1898). He is best known for his novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865), which he wrote under the pen name Lewis Carrol. He is referred to as a "German mathematician" possibly because his middle name is similar to the German name "Ludwig," and he was a lecturer on mathematics at Oxford University.
