CREDIT CARD

usually a wallet size identification card that allows a person to buy items or obtain services on credit simply by showing a retailer the card and signing the bill. The card is backed by a credit card company which pays the bill and bills the credit card owner. Usually purchases made with a credit card are interest free for one month after which interest is payable.
