1. there are five major types of Mission Orders. These types are(1) observation mission orders,(2) situation handling mission orders,(3) garrison mission orders,(4) project mission orders,(5) courier mission orders. The term "missionaire" is used for the personnel who conduct the first four types and courier is used for the last type. (FO 2936) 2. the name courier implies outgoing mail.
