A course in elementary communication and control. Consists of training drills on communication and drills to put the student at cause over the environment. There are no prerequisites. The graduate is awarded the certificate of Hubbard Apprentice Scientologist (HAS). Also called the HAS Course. It is often called the Comm Course (comm being for communication). There are now two basic courses available in elementary communication and control. These are the SUCCESS THROUGH COMMUNICATION COURSE and the HOW TO ACHIEVE EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION COURSE.
