short for Advisory Committees. Used in reference to the minutes of the Advisory Committee meetings. At the time of this lecture, Advisory Committees in Scientology organizations consisted of the heads of the Departments of Training, Processing, Accounts, Materiel, and Promotion and Registration who met weekly. Its purpose was to advise the executives of the organization as to needed changes and policies; to act as a meeting ground for department heads; to assemble and report the statistics of finance and action to the Executive Director (L. Ron Hubbard at that time) and to advance ideas for promotion and improvement. This data was compiled into minutes and sent to Saint Hill. But it's very interesting to read the Ad Comms.
