A twin is responsible for seeing that the student with whom he is twinned knows and can apply the material he has studied. He accomplishes this by giving his twin checkouts on the theory materials of the course, word clearing him as needed and coaching him on practical drills. Twinning is a Scientology innovation in training which enables the student to get into communication, doingness and participation.
