TONE ARM ACTION (TA)

Movement of the Tone Arm when it has to be moved more than .2 divisions to keep the needle at set (except during moments of body movement). The total number of divisions down a Tone Arm has moved accurately in a unit of time, such as 20 minutes or a two and a half hour session. Tone Arm Action denotes a change and, therefore, that case gain for the preclear is occurring.
