training pilots during
World War II (1939-1945). Its takeoff and climbing speed was around 66 miles (106.2 km) per hour and its
average speed was 75 to 90 miles (120.7-144.8 km) per hour. More than eight thousand of these
planes were built for
use by various air forces.
