STRAIGHTWIRE

STRAIGHTWIRE
ScnBasic
The earliest coining of the memory exercises known as "Straight Wire" came from the formula of cause and effect. We describe this as the act of stringing a line between present time and some incident in the past, and stringing that line directly and without any detours. In other words, we conceived the auditor was stringing a straight wire of memory between the actual genus of a condition and present time, thus demonstrating that there was a difference of time and space in the condition then and the condition now, and that the preclear conceding this difference would then rid himself of the condition or at least be able to handle it.
