process is to bring the
preclear to a
point where he can
spot locations in
space which do not have
color,
mass or shape, but which are simply locations, and
spot that same location repeatedly without variation.

want him to
spot a
spot in
space and then be able to
spot it again. That
spot is only a location. It doesn't have
mass, and you
want him to be able to put his finger on it and take his finger off of it, and put the finger of his other
hand on it, and take it off, and move his
body into it and move his
body out of it and so forth. This is a location and the more certain he becomes of these locations the
better he is, and the next thing you know—why, he's able to tolerate
space.
