SECOND DIMENSION

n.a reference to the dimension which has or appears to have height and width (but no depth). A dimension is any measurable magnitude or extent, such as length, breadth or thickness. For example, a line has one dimension, a square drawn on a flat piece of paper has two dimensions and a cube has three dimensions.
