abbreviation for Orders Of the Day, a type of ship's "newspaper" issued by any Commanding Officer to his own unit daily and may contain current activities, Ethics Orders, etc., by others, contains the schedule of the day and serves as a crew briefing. OODs are also put out to their own orgs by Executive Directors or Executive Councils in Scientology orgs.
