Bible "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a
needle than for a
rich man to enter the kingdom of
God!" In the
Bible there is a story of a
man who came to Jesus asking what he would have to do to have eternal
life. In addition to keeping the ten
commandments, Jesus told the
man, "If you
want to be
perfect, go and
sell everything you have and give the
money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me." At this the
man sadly went away for he was very
rich, whereupon Jesus uttered the above
statement to his disciples.
