a phrase used in Dianetics techniques. If an auditor asks a person for the engram necessary to resolve the case, he will always get the engram that is next available to b e reduced or erased. To reduce an engram means to take all the charge or pain out of it and render it free of aberrative material a s far as possible to make the case progress.
