persons transferred to the Missionaire Unit who have not completed mission school or do not have officer rank are entitled apprentice missionaires. The duties performed by the apprentice are the same as those of any other missionaire but he may not be an I/C of a mission. If he remains in the unit after completing courses, the "apprentice" is removed from his name should he now also be an experienced and competent missionaire. (FO 2748)
