INTENSIVE

A specific number of hours of auditing given to a preclear over a short period of time, as a series of successive sessions at regularly scheduled intervals. Twenty-five hours of auditing, administered over a five day period or occupying ten evenings would be examples of intensives.

auditing is sold in "numbers of intensives." These are given in chunks exactly scheduled by Tech Services Monday to Friday. Today we would call the 12 1/2 hour intensive given in one week an intensive. (LRH ED 145R INT)

An intensive is defined as any one single period of 12½ hours or 25 hours of auditing delivered all within one single week or weekends on a set schedule.
