HUNA

a psychological and religious practice supposedly discovered by Max Freedom Long (1898-1971). Based on his research into an ancient Hawaiian religion, Long is said to have found a method of "healing" that was a mixture of psychology and religion. He said it was "magic," named it Huna (a Hawaiian word meaning secret), and advocated it as a method to "treat" problems of the body and mind.
