an E-Meter tone arm which is above normal range (between 2 and 3 on the tone arm dial). The tone arm is a control lever on the EMeter. It registers density of mass in the mind of the preclear. This is actual mass, not imaginary, and can be weighed, measured by resistance, etc. Therefore, the tone arm registers the state of the case at any given time in processing.
