HELL HATH NO FURY
ScnTUEU
reference to the saying hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, meaning "no one has more wrath than a woman whose love has been rejected, or who has been treated with indignant contempt." The saying comes from a line in the play The Mourning Bride (1697), by English author William Congreve (1670@1729). The full line is "Heav'n has no rage, like love to hatred turn'd, nor Hell a fury, like a woman scorn'd."
