HEAD SCREEN

HEAD SCREEN
ScnTUEU
n.a small stiff screen used in photography, often when taking portraits to lessen the light falling on a part of the person being photographed. It is usually 10 by 15 inches (25.4 x 38.1 cm) big and is placed between the light and the subject to restrain the light from hitting the side of the face and ear, thus allowing one to de-emphasize these areas as needed.
