Frederick J. Hacker, an American psychiatrist who attacked Dianetics in 1950.Frederick J. Hacker (1914-1989), an Austrian psychiatrist who worked at the Menninger clinic in Topeka, Kansas, USA. In the late 1940s he established his own clinic in California where he "treated" film actor Robert Walker (1918-1951). In 1951, Walker was given a powerful barbiturate while under Hacker's care and went into shock and died.
