form is "everybody knows." Examples: "They say that
George is doing a bad
job," or "Nobody liked the last
newsletter." The proper rejoinder is "Who is everybody?" You'll find it was one person who had a name. When you have
critical data, omit the "everybody" generality. Say who, say where. Otherwise, you'll
form a bad
datum for somebody. When our actions are said to be unpopular the person or persons saying so have names.
