FRENCH BAYONET

FRENCH BAYONET
ScnTUEU
a reference to a type of bayonet having a triangular-shaped blade, used in France as far back as the 1600s. A bayonet is a slashing or stabbing weapon made of steel that is somewhat like a dagger or short sword. It can be fixed to the end of a rifle and used in close combat. The word bayonet comes from the name of the French city Bayonne, where the bayonet is thought to have been developed.
