a person who was with Scientology prior to 1964. In February 1964, L. Ron Hubbard issued a policy letter which included an application for for all persons in Scientology prior to 1964 to fill out and return. Applicants received a "Founding Scientologist" certificate which granted them training and auditing privileges because they had helped in the beginning years of Scientology.
