short for Director of Examinations, the head of a former department in the Qualifications Division which kept the technical results of the organization excellent and consistent by ensuring that students and preclears completing services achieved the expected skills and gains. Today, these functions are performed by the Department of Validity in the Qualifications Division. See also Examiner in this glossary.
