CURRENT RATIO

a ratio of an organization's current assets to its current liabilities. This figure is used as an indicator of an organization's working capital and ability to pay off debts. The current ratio can be unreliable due to the quality of assets calculated into it and a cash/bills ratio would be a better indicator to use.
