BOOT SCHOOL

n.a reference to boot camp, a basic training center where recruits are put through a program of military training and drilling. Boot is a term used to describe a new recruit in the United States Navy or Marines, undergoing basic training at boot camp. The term is thought to come from the leggings (boots) that newly recruited sailors used to wear during such training.
