a social hall or meeting place in Paris, France, popularly known as the American Students' Club. It was founded around 1920 and provided a place for Americans and others to meet and partake in such activities as playing cards, table tennis or attend French classes in the evenings. Shortly following World War II (1939-1945) the center served to hold classes for American students attending school in Paris.
