ALTO CASTELLATUS

n.a reference to altocumulus castellatus, a classification for whitish or grayish clouds having a top edge shaped somewhat like turrets, battlements or towers on a castle wall. These clouds generally appear in a line, resting on one horizontal base, and indicate thundery conditions.
