ALTER-IS-NESS

One of the four conditions of existence. It is the consideration which introduces change, and therefore time and persistence into an As-is-ness to obtain persistency. (One of the basic manifestations of Alter-is-ness is a lie or deceit: when someone lies he changes the truth into a lie in order to maintain the existence of the lie.)
